To be eligible for one or more scholarships, candidates must apply and be accepted into a graduate program. Below you will find the common admission criteria.
Master’s degree
- Four-year bachelor’s degree
- A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (B average) in the last 60 credit hours of study
- Degree awarded by a recognized university.
Doctor of Philosophy degree:
- First-class thesis Master’s degree or its equivalent;
- A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (B average) in the last 60 credit hours of study;

- Most applicants for admission to the doctoral program have a master’s degree. Direct entry to some programs is possible for people with exceptional academic standing.
