The purpose of the Chancellor’s Fellowship is to attract outstanding students by providing them with financial assistance in their pursuit of higher education. The Chancellor’s Fellowship is subject to budget availability and is primarily awarded to students in STEM and strategic areas of the country (renewable energy, transportation, health, water resources, technology, space).
This scholarship award does not apply to the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Master of Professional Accounting (MPA).

Research assistantships are awarded to graduate students to work on research projects under the supervision of faculty members. To be eligible for a research assistantship, a candidate must first apply and be accepted into a master’s or doctoral program at the UAE. Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs) are typically full-time graduate students who participate in teaching activities at the university in exchange for financial support.
Graduate Administrative Assistants (GAAs) are typically full-time graduate students who participate in administrative activities at the University in exchange for financial support.
The purpose of the Full Ride Scholarship is to recruit high-achieving Emirati undergraduate students in certain fields to the UAE and provide them with full and continuous financial support to pursue postgraduate studies beyond their undergraduate through Masters and PhD studies in the UAE.
The objective of this program is to increase the number of Emirati students in research postgraduate programs in the UAE and to graduate more nationals with doctoral degrees and viable research training in areas of strategic importance to the UAE.
The purpose of the PhD Scholarship is to recruit high-achieving postgraduate students in certain disciplines to UAEU and provide them with full and continuous financial support to pursue postgraduate studies in the UAE.
