The OSI model focuses on three concepts:
1. Services.
2. Interface.
3. Ethics.

The biggest contribution of the OSI model is to distinguish between these three concepts.
Apparently each layer creates some services for the layer above it. The definition of the service describes what the layer does, It’s not about how the companies above are approached or how the layer works. It defines the semantics of the layer.

The interface of a layer tells the above processes how to access it. Specifies which parameters and what
expected outcome. It says nothing about how the layer works inside.
Finally, the peer protocol layer used in a layer is its own business. It can use any protocol it wants
