RNA has the same three nitrogen bases (adenine, guanine and cytosine)
In DNA, the fourth RNA base is uracil (U), which is similar to thymine but does not have a methyl group (-CH3).
RNA can be combined with single-stranded DNA. This merger follows the same filler base formulation rules.
